Current HighLevel AI Employee plans
| Plan | Current documented price | Key AI allowance |
|---|---|---|
| Pay-Per-Use | No AI subscription fee | Supported AI activity is billed at token/usage rates. |
| AI Employee Growth | $50/month per enabled location | 1,000 Conversation AI responses/month; 100 Voice AI minutes/month across inbound, outbound and widget usage; other documented inclusions apply. |
| AI Employee Unlimited | $97/month per enabled location | Unlimited Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI and Content AI subject to fair use; increased included usage for some other AI tools. |
The two pricing details most likely to be missed
1. Phone System charges are separate
HighLevel states that Phone System charges still apply to phone calls even when Voice AI is covered by a subscription. That means an “Unlimited” AI plan should not be modeled as zero variable telephony cost.
2. Agent Studio remains pay-per-use
HighLevel’s current AI pricing documentation says Agent Studio is not included in any subscription plan and remains pay-per-use. If Agent Studio is central to your deployment, include it separately in your cost model.
How the Growth plan behaves after 100 Voice AI minutes
The 100 included minutes are pooled across inbound, outbound and widget Voice AI. After that allowance, HighLevel says behavior depends on the location’s AI Usage Limit settings: usage may continue with applicable overages, or stop if the account is configured to block AI at the limit. For Growth overages, Voice Engine, text-to-speech and LLM token costs can apply, in addition to phone charges.
Is $50 or $97 the whole HighLevel cost?
No. Those figures are the documented AI Employee plan prices per enabled location. They are not a substitute for HighLevel’s base CRM plan, telephony, messaging or other usage-based services. An agency evaluating total cost should separate:
- Base HighLevel platform subscription
- AI Employee plan by enabled location
- Phone and SMS usage
- AI overages or pay-per-use components
- Any external model/provider costs where applicable
- Agency markup/reselling economics
Which AI plan is the natural starting point?
Pay-Per-Use is easier to justify for low or uncertain usage. Growth creates a predictable baseline for locations that need regular AI usage but can live within the included allowances or controlled overages. Unlimited is easier to reason about for heavier use of Conversation AI and Voice AI, but fair-use and separate Phone System charges still matter.
