What Agent Studio still does
Agent Studio provides a visual flow canvas for existing agents. Users can maintain logic, nodes, tools, conditions, knowledge retrieval and versions. Existing triggers connected to those agents continue to work according to HighLevel’s current guidance.
What to use for a new agent
HighLevel directs new agent creation toward Managed Agents. The newer experience uses natural-language instructions instead of requiring a user to manually assemble every flow node.
Agent Studio pricing
HighLevel’s current AI pricing page states that Agent Studio is not included in AI Employee Growth or Unlimited. It remains pay-per-use across all plan approaches, with charges depending on model token usage, APIs, searches and content-generation units where applicable.
When the visual builder is still useful
- You already have live flow-based agents that need maintenance.
- You need to inspect or alter explicit nodes and conditions in an existing deployment.
- Your organization has standardized on an existing Agent Studio flow and is not ready to migrate.
Buyer takeaway
Agent Studio should no longer be used as a generic shorthand for “HighLevel’s newest agent builder.” That distinction matters for evaluating product maturity, onboarding effort and pricing. New buyers should assess Managed Agents and the current AI pricing model rather than assuming the old canvas is the future path.
